Creating opportunities.
Empowering the African orphan child.

MasterCross Charity Foundation exists to support orphaned children and vulnerable communities across Africa, creating pathways to education, wellbeing, dignity and opportunity while supporting rural development.

The Open Hand message about supporting an orphan child

No child should have to face the future alone.

The African orphan child deserves more than survival. Every child deserves a safe place to learn, caring support, good health, encouragement and the opportunity to discover a future filled with possibility.

Through practical programmes and community partnerships, MasterCross seeks to turn compassion into lasting opportunities for children and families across Africa.

A foundation for children, communities and a better future in Africa.

MasterCross Charity Foundation is committed to supporting the African orphan child and contributing to rural development programmes across Africa.

Our work is rooted in the belief that education, faith, compassion and practical support can help children and communities build stronger futures. We seek to create opportunities for children who are vulnerable or without parental care, while strengthening the environments in which they live, learn and grow.

The foundation's guiding vision is inspired by a commitment to the education of poor and vulnerable children in Africa, including reading, writing, Christian principles, sobriety, responsibility and service to God and humanity.

“The desire being to promote religion and sobriety especially in young people, and to give them an early sense of their duty to God and man, begging of God Almighty to succeed it to his honour.”
Our VisionA future where African orphaned children and vulnerable young people have the opportunity to learn, grow, lead and thrive.
